For those who are not familiar, Raita is simply a yogurt based Indian condiment often used as a side, sauce or dip. Fruits or vegetables with yogurt and the condiment lightly tempered with spices and herbs.Sweet or savory, the Raita makes a wonderful accompaniment with grilled meat and works wonderfully as a side for a light lunch, or as a dip with crackers or flat breads.
Endlessly versatile, any kind and combination of fruits, vegetables and spices may be used to make Raita.
It was long time I saw this Bowl full of pink raita on many of my foodie fellows page on instagram and wanted to try it out. I was not very sure how this pink color which look really pretty would taste..But to my surprise it tastes so so good . Follow few easy steps and colourful raita ready.
