Ingredients
For Marinade
2 cups Paneer(cottage cheese)
1-2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin powder
Salt to taste
For green gravy
2 big green Tomatoes
Oil as needed
1 big Green capsicum, deseeded & chopped
3Spring onions with greens, chopped
1tsp each Ginger and green chili paste
1/2cup Kasoori methi
1tsp fennel seeds
2tbsp fresh cream
1tsp turmeric powder
Garam masala according to taste
salt to taste
Ingredients
Marinate paneer pieces with lemon juice, green chilli and ginger paste, cumin powder and salt for 15-20 minute ,While paneer is getting marinated, place green tomatoes(you can use raw tomatoes little radish will do) in a pan, add a little water and boil.
Cover and cook for fifteen to twenty minutes.
When done, turn off the stove and let it cool bit.
Heat oil in a pan, add onion , capsicum, spring onion greens, fenugreek leaves(methi) and saute. Add ginger and green chili paste as well.Now, into the mixer add boiled tomatoes ,fresh coriander and above sautéed mix and blendto puree.
Add little bit water if needed to make smooth paste.When it is pureed , Now Heat oil add green puree ,paneer and keep stirring carefully.
Bring down the heat to boil Add other spices turmeric powder, garam masala and salt to taste.
Cook just a little bit.
Hariyali paneer is ready.
Garnish with again couple of tbsp cream, fresh finely chopped coriander leaves.
serve hot with Chapatis or naan.
